Alopecia is hair loss, many people experience some form of this hair loss at one point or time in their lives. There are many causes for the loss of hair to occur and many people accredit it to different hormonal changes within their bodies. Many women start to under go the lost of their hair when they are going through menopause. Alopecia and bio-identical hormones may play a part together. Males inadvertently produce more testosterone then women, which doctors have been able to link this particular hormone as a cause for many men losing their hair at a young age. As testosterone levels raise a males power and strength will increase but their hair will begin to diminish. Alopecia and bio-identical hormones play a big role in alopecia. However many of the studies that were performed basically show that some of the hormones are passed down. Meaning a lot of people develop alopecia and something like it because of heredity. There are different creams, oils and oral medications that can be taken to try to solve the problem. Be well aware that these methods have different effects on different people. Do not expect the same thing to work for you that has worked for someone else.
